Renowned safety specialist and retired Nigerian Air Force personnel, Rotimi Olaiya Ekundayo, has praised Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his commitment to governance, security, and welfare initiatives.
Ekundayo commended Ododo’s efforts in fostering sustainable development and enhancing safety, particularly in light of recent military actions that restored peace in Kogi communities affected by crises.
His statement serves a broader support for the governor’s leadership and dedication to improving the lives of Kogi residents.
In a congratulatory message commemorating Governor Ododo’s one-year anniversary, Ekundayo, who resides in the United States of America, expressed confidence in the Governor’s ability to enhance the well-being of Kogi’s inhabitants.
The Safety Specialist stated that any leadership and government that prioritizes welfare, security, agriculture, education, youth, and women’s empowerment is a serious one, and as such, the people should not hesitate to show their support to facilitate more success.
He congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Deputy Joel Salifu Oyibo, and the new direction team on the occasion of their one-year anniversary in office.
Rotimi Olaiya Ekundayo, an indigene of Ponyan, Yagba East local government area of Kogi State, urged Okun Sons and daughters, both at home and abroad, to support the Governor’s laudable intention to develop the State to an enviable height.
He described Governor Ododo as a humane leader, who is fully prepared for leadership and whose selfless efforts are felt throughout the State.
He advised opposition party members to change course in order to ensure a more prosperous Kogi State under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the All Progressives Congress, APC, administration.
He appreciated the Governor for his inclusive leadership, where State workforce receives timely monthly salaries, and pensioners, students, and traditional rulers are also integrated into the governance process.
On this notable occasion, I am delighted to convey my confidence in Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, who has achieved one year of governance, and promise the people of Kogi State that even greater accomplishments await them in the future.
