Williams collaborates with private institutions to enhance agriculture and food security in Olamaboro

In a bid to tackle the challenges of human resources and food security facing the expanding population, the Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Comrade Ameh Williams, has entered into a strategic partnership with His Majesty Agricultural Institution to enhance agricultural productivity in the area.
A partnership meeting was held at His Majesty Multi-Vision Farm in Okpo, Olamaboro Local Government, where trained individuals received chicks as part of a poultry distribution programme.
This initiative followed a two-week training session provided by the company, His Majesty Multi-Vision Farm is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to training individuals in agricultural practices.
Williams, who prioritizes agriculture, stressed the importance of cooperation between local government, private sectors, and other organizations to achieve optimal results, as represented by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Comrade John Timothy, who urged the people of Olamaboro Local Government to support the administration’s agricultural development initiatives led by Comrade Williams.
He assured them that the executive chairman is pledged to providing the necessary support to establish Olamaboro as an agricultural hub, underscoring agriculture as a key component of his 7-point agenda. Comrade John Timothy also appealed to the people to continue supporting Governor Usman Ododo’s leadership, stressing that the governor is the reason Kogite are enjoying all the dividends of democracy today.

Pastor Onoja Godwin Ekoche, Director of His Majesty Agricultural Institution, lauded the chairman for his unrelenting commitment to local government development, underscoring his unwavering dedication to initiatives that benefit the community.
The attendees expressed their gratitude for the chairman’s efforts in advancing agriculture and pledged their support for his administration’s initiatives.
Dignitaries present at the occasion included Pastor Sunday Onaji, Honourable Emmanuel Francis, Elder Barrister Dickson Itodo, Honourable Simeon Egwu and traditional rulers.
