2027: Delta political appointees endorse Oborevwori for second term
The Delta State Senior Special Assistants (SSA) Forum has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the massive infrastructural development across the state assuring that they would work to ensure his re-election in 2027.
Rising from a meeting convened on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, at Unity Hall, Delta State Government House, the Forum said the meeting was to deliberate on key issues affecting the state and to reaffirm their commitment to the progress and development of the State.
In a communique signed by Hon. Lucky Dikadi – Chairman, Barr. Rose Ughwubiti – Secretary, Chief Abraham Odjighoro – Publicity Secretary/PRO and Chief Amb. Mayor C. Enujeko – Organising Secretary the Forum resolved as follows:
Following extensive discussions, the Forum unanimously adopted the following resolutions:
▪️ *Nicknamed His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as “Mr. Development”*
In acknowledgment of the unprecedented developmental strides recorded under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Forum, through a unanimous vote, has conferred upon him the nickname “Mr. Development.”
This nicknaming is in appreciation of his administration’s commitment to infrastructural renewal, human capital development, economic growth, and the general welfare of Deltans.
▪️ *Total Support for the Re-Election of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori (2027 – 2031)*
The Forum unequivocally declares its strong and unwavering support for the re-election of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for a second tenure from 2027 to 2031.
We firmly believe that his continuity in office will further consolidate the gains of his *MORE Agenda* and ensure sustained development across the state.
The Forum pledges to actively mobilize grassroots support to ensure his resounding victory in the forthcoming elections.
The Delta State SSA Forum remains steadfast in its dedication to the advancement of Delta State and urges all Deltans to continue supporting the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
