Gov Ododo Industrializes Kogi, Launches Pharmaceutical Factory in Olamaboro LGA – Williams

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration has been actively involved in various development projects across Kogi State, including infrastructure, agriculture, and energy initiatives amongst others

The Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of JohnPaul Pharmaceuticals and FMCG products factory, a multi-national company, marking a significant milestone in Kogi State and Olamaboro Local Government.

He said the event serves as a testament to Governor Ododo’s commitment to collaborating with private sectors and fostering an enabling environment for local indigenous manufacturing companies.

Representing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro local government area recalled the Governor’s remarks on January 27th, 2024, highlighting the project’s significance, which has the potential to create 500 jobs and increase the state’s and local government’s internally generated revenue (IGR).

He noted that his administration’s commitment to advancing Olamaboro Local Government and Kogi State is clearly evident in this development.

The chairman’s efforts to attract investments and create employment opportunities for the people of Olamaboro are praiseworthy, and it is apparent that his administration is diligently working to promote development and growth in the area with significant support to private entities.

In this vein, the council Chairman took the opportunity to urge the sons and daughters of Olamaboro local government, both at home and abroad, to emulate Prince Jacob Aminu Momoh’s patriotic disposition by investing in their homeland, which will yield mutual benefits for their grassroots community.

Prince Jacob Aminu Momoh, the GMD/CEO of JAMUB Group and Companies, expressed his sincere appreciation to The Executive Governor, as represented by The Executive Chairman, for creating a safe haven for investments in Olamaboro and Kogi State.

The event, held in Inele, Olamaboro local government, was attended by dignitaries including HRH. Chief Ujah Simeon, The Ejeh of Olamaboro, Who Represented The Attah Of Igala, HRM. Matthew Opaluwa, The SLG Hon Idenyi Samuel, The COS To Chairman Hon Abraham Francis, The Legislative Majority Leader Hon Prince Okpanachi Black, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, and members of the Community also graced the occasion.
