Gov. Sule Appoints First Female Commissioner, Arum Community Applauds
The Arum Cultural and Development Association (ACDA), the central organization for all Arum individuals worldwide, has conveyed deep gratitude to Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, for appointing Barrister Hauwa Jugbo to the executive council.
In a press statement signed by Secretary General Usman Ayarah, ACDA extended its heartfelt appreciation to the governor for the historic appointment of Barrister Hauwa Samuel Jugbo as Commissioner and Attorney General of Nasarawa State, a groundbreaking achievement that marks a significant first for Arum land since the state’s establishment in 1996.

The Arum people are pleased with Governor Sule’s bold step in allocating two commissioner slots to Wamba Local Government Area, describing it as a remarkable achievement, they congratulated Muazu Adamu Gosho and Barrister Hauwa Samuel Jugbo on their appointments and wished them success.
ACDA also expressed gratitude for the ongoing 10km rural road construction project, which has eased transportation of goods and services, despite some dust-related issues, they urged the government to address these concerns before the end of the administration.
The association pledged total loyalty and support to the APC-led administration under Governor Abdullahi Sule, acknowledging him as the first governor to appoint an Arum indigene as commissioner in Nasarawa State’s history, a gesture the Arum people will not forget.
