Nasarawa Assembly begins Ramadan Tafsir, cleric urges good deeds
The Muslim community of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has commenced this year’s Ramadan Tafsir today, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. This marks the beginning of the annual spiritual exercise during Ramadan, where Islamic scholars provide interpretations and teachings from the Qur’an to guide the faithful throughout the holy month.
The Tafsir sessions are expected to emphasize unity, peace, and prayers for leaders and the nation.
The Ramadan Tafsir of the State House of Assembly is been conducted by the Chief Imam of Mallam Sarki Mosques Super Cinema Lafia Mallam Muhammad Muhammad Sarki.
The Cleric who spoke extensively on the significant of the Ramadan fast to the entire Muslims tasked them to adhere strictly to the ethics of the Ramadan fast to enable them get the full rewards and benefits associated with the holy month.
Mallam Muhammad Muhammad Sarki enjoined Muslims to always operate with the fear of God as death is inevitable that every mortal must experienced.
He enjoined Muslims to always do good things at all times because everyone must give account of his deeds and warned believers to desist from all sins to have peace of mind and smooth judgement.
The Acting Clerk of the House Ibrahim Musa commended the cleric for carrying out the Ramadan Tafsir and tasked the Muslims staff to ensure that they attend the daily Tafsir with ribbed interest to gain the benefits derivable from it.
The opening session of the Ramadan Tafsir of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly featured prayers for leaders, the state and the country at large as well as for the success of the Ramadan fast.
