The forum of former councilors and secretaries from Zone B area of Kogi Local Government Area has recognized Barrister Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku, the Executive Chairman of Kogi State Civil Service Commission, as an exceptional leader who leads by example. They called on the people of Zone B to support and rally behind him.

The group said his outstanding leadership qualities and the respect he commands within Kogi LG particularly Zone B convinced them.

On Tuesday, Rt. Hon. Gimba Dadi, the immediate past Councilor and council leader for Kogi Koton-Karfe in Kogi local government council, led three other former councilors and the immediate former council secretary on a solidarity visit to congratulate Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku on his emergence as Zone B leader.

Dadi stated their visit was to show support and affirm that they are fully behind Barr. Tanko in his role as Zone B leader.

He noted that Barr. Tanko’s leadership comes at a crucial time when the zone needs him most, emphasizing that he has been tested, trusted, and proven in his previous roles and engagements.

Gimba Dadi assured Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku that the former council officials fully support Engineer Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, in his leadership of Kogi Local Government.

He emphasized that both Barr. Tanko and Bashir Gegu are the key leaders to whom the people of Kogi LG are answerable, noting that their efforts and initiatives have brought peace and stability to the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area.

Responding, Barr. Muhammed Musa Tanko Osuku thanked the former council officials for their unalloyed support, cooperation, solidarity and loyalty, assuring them that he will involve everybody in the scheme of things.

He described the councilors and council secretary as critical stakeholders of Zone B, emphasizing that their contributions toward promoting the zone will go a long way.

The former Kogi LG Chairman stated that leadership is about the people and confidently affirmed that he has their great support, with everyone united in the desire for development and peace in their zone
