Women in Nasarawa State Pass Vote of Confidence on Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim over quality representation
Women across Nasarawa State have expressed strong support and passed a vote of confidence on Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, the member representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the State Assembly. The women gave reasons for the Vote of Confidence, said Dr. Ibrahim is widely recognized for her effective and impactful legislative work, ensuring that the interests of her constituents are well represented.
They also said she has been a strong advocate for marginalized groups, particularly women and vulnerable populations, giving them a platform in the State Assembly.
The women explained that Dr. Danyaro Ibrahim has championed numerous initiatives aimed at empowering women in Nasarawa State, promoting gender equality, and improving women’s socio-economic status.

Dr. Danyaro APC and only female lawmaker in Nasarawa State also received an applause for sponsoring the first private member bill to be passed into law in the 7th State Assembly which is a bill on provision of free menstrual hygiene products by the State Government for girls in secondary schools in the state.
Nasarawa Central constituents commend female lawmaker Danyaro for fulfilling campaign promises
The State Commissioner for women Affairs Barr. Hauwa Jugbo gave the commendation when she led Woman Senior Special Assistants SSAs to Gov. Sule and female students of Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 polytechnic Lafia on a solidarity visit to the lawmaker at the State Assembly in Lafia today.
She said the woman were in her office to appreciate her for all the good things and struggle she is doing for the betterment of women in the state and to encourage her to do more.
She said that they women also expressed their joy and satisfaction seeing that the first private member bill to be passed by the 7th State Assembly was her bill aside that the bill have direct impact of the life of a woman.
She emphasized that the free menstrual hygiene products passed into law by the State Assembly which will make the State Government provide the products to girls in secondary schools in the State is highly commendable and called on the Governor not to hesitate in signing it considering its benefits in the society.

The Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim thanked them for the visit saying it will encourage her to do more for the women and the State at large.
Dr. Danyaro appreciated the support of the Rt. Hon. Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau and her colleagues the lawmakers for always standing by her.
