Ibrahim Aliyu Nana Assures Keffi West Constituents of More Initiatives

Hon Ibrahim Aliyu Nana, Member representing Keffi West Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has highlighted several notable achievements recorded during his tenure. Aliyu Nana reiterated his commitment to prioritizing quality education for his constituents.
Speaking with journalists at his residence in GRA Keffi, he stressed his determination to continue addressing the needs of his people, particularly in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and youth development.
Recently, Nana was reported to have awarded scholarships to 43 students to pursue higher education, covering tuition fees from year one to graduation.
This initiative, he explained, stems from his desire to shift focus from temporary solutions to more sustainable forms of empowerment through education and skills acquisition.

“When I came onboard, I discovered that some children are just redundant without going to school, their parents cannot afford to pay their school fees, I decided to pay their WAEC and NECO examinations”.
” It is true there is hunger and poverty in town, I took it upon me to award scholarship to some students of tertiary institutions starting with the Nasarawa state University Keffi and the school of health science and technology Keffi from year one till graduation”.
On women and youth empowerment, Ibrahim Aliyu Nana disclosed that he has empowered numerous women and youth with funds and skills to start businesses, enabling them to become self-reliant.
Additionally, over 50 motorcycles have been distributed to unemployed youths in his constituency, allowing them to venture into the okada business, this initiative aims to provide a means of livelihood and economic stability for the beneficiaries.
Furthermore, Nana addressed a critical challenge in his constituency – the lack of access to portable drinking water. Despite it not being a typical responsibility of a lawmaker, he took the initiative to execute projects that provide clean water to his constituents.
This demonstrates his commitment to addressing the needs of his community and improving their quality of life.
As a legislator, Ibrahim Aliyu Nana, revealed that he has also sponsored bills that benefit the entire people of Nasarawa state and his constituents.
For instance, he has introduced a bill aimed at preventing land grabbing, a pressing issue in Nasarawa State, particularly in Keffi and Karu Local Government Areas, and urged for support to ensure the bill’s success, highlighting its potential benefits for the state’s residents.
Through these initiatives, Ibrahim Aliyu Nana has made a positive impact in his constituency. His commitment to education, empowerment, and community development has earned him recognition and appreciation from his constituents.
