Chief Maikaya commends ex-Toto LGC Chair, Tashas for fostering his children’s Islamic knowledge (Photos)

On Saturday, Chief Dr Musa Muhammed Maikaya, a prominent governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made a significant visit to Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. His visit was to show support and solidarity with his friend, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, the immediate past Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Council, whose 3 children graduated from Islamic memorization school
The occasion was the graduation of three of Hon. Tashas’s children from a Qur’anic memorization school.
Maikaya, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Maikaya Development Foundation, was a special guest at the occasion, emphasized the importance of nurturing children in godly ways. He expressed pride in the Tashas family for raising their children with strong Islamic values and encouraged other parents to lead by example.
Chief Maikaya also praised Islamic teachers and scholars for their vital role in instilling moral values and discipline in children through Qur’anic education.
The renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur said his visit do not only reinforced ties within the Tashas family but also highlighted his commitment to cultural and religious values, which resonates well with his political base in Nasarawa State and the FCT area.
Maikaya’s presence at the graduation ceremony underscores the importance of religious education and moral upbringing in leadership and community development.
His support for Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas reflects strong personal and political alliances within the APC, while also promoting the value of Islamic education in Nigerian society.
The occasion brought together politicians including Toto LG APC Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Shuaibu, immediate past Toto LGC Vice Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, incumbent Toto LGC legislative Speaker, Rt. Hon Abdulhamid, former political appointees who served under Hon Tasha’s administration and a host of political associates.
