Honourable Ahmed Baba Yahaya, Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Council in Nasarawa State, has extended an earnest invitation to the people of Toto local government area, encouraging them to collaborate with his administration in building the area into a better place than it was initially.
He disclosed that the residents of Toto Local Government are pleased with the new harmonious coexistence among the various ethnic groups in the area.

He observed that the support and cooperation of the community members with the government have generated positive results, contributing to the stability and development of the area.
Yahaya spoke to a large audience on Friday at the palace of Ohimegye Opanda in Umaisha Development Area. The event was a follow-up to the Eid-El-Kabir prayer, which he participated in alongside His Royal Highness, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi.
The pharmacist-turned-politician assured that his administration ensured a fair, just, and equitable distribution of wealth—regardless of tribe, religion, and social status
He expressed sincere gratitude to all stakeholders and traditional rulers for their crucial role in fostering peace within the LG.

“Their collective efforts and commitment have helped ensure that peace becomes the prevailing order of the day, creating a stable and harmonious environment conducive to development and social cohesion.”
This, the Chairman highlights the importance of collaboration between government officials, traditional authorities, and community members in maintaining lasting peace.
The Chairman specifically commended Ohimegye Opanda, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi for the exemplary leadership he is providing to his subjects. He prayed that God continues to protect and guide him, granting him sound health and wisdom to carry out his duties effectively.
Pharmacist Baba Yahaya equally expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Sule for the unwavering support extended to his administration. He acknowledged that such support has contributed immensely to the development and progress within the area.

On his part, HRH. Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, the Ohimegye Opanda and Chairman Toto local government traditional council of chiefs, expressed great joy over the massive turnout of people at the Eid praying Ground event.
He highlighted that peace has returned to the area, signaling a positive shift in the LG stability.
Ohimegye Opanda commended Governor Abdullahi Sule, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya (the Chairman of the area), and various groups, individuals, and NGOs who have been instrumental in championing and sustaining peace in the area.

The Ohimegye urged his people to return to farming activities to boost food security.
Also speaking, Retired Supreme Court Justice Suleiman Galadima revealed that the return of the Bassa people to the area would enhance and sustain peace and unity, thereby fostering development.
The retired jurist urged the people of Toto LG, regardless of their affiliations, to unite and embrace peace at all times to collectively develop the area.
As Chairman of African Peace Magazine, Justice Galadima emphasized the significance of the Bassa people’s return to Toto LG, that it would translate to peace rather than perpetuating conflict, as both Egbira and Bassa have coexisted as brothers and sisters in the same Toto LG for ages.

Global Times Nigeria reports that Muslim faithfuls in Umaisha Area Administrative Council of Nasarawa State converged at the Central Eid Ground today, Friday, to join their counterparts worldwide in observing the Two units Eid-el Kabir congregational prayers.
The event was attended by Special Adviser to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Water Resources Alhaji Muhammed Usman, stakeholders, youths and women groups amongst others.
