Maikaya Congratulates Muslims on Eid-el Kabir, Urges Compassion, Sacrifice

A prominent gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 Nasarawa State elections, Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya has extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslim communities across the state on the joyous occasion of Eid-el Kabir.
In his message, the CEO Maikaya Development Foundation urged all residents in Nasarawa State to embrace the spirit of prayers, sacrifice, and compassion that Eid-el Kabir embodies. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective goodwill in fostering peace and development within Nasarawa State.
in a statement issued by his Media office on Thursday evening, Maikaya prayed for peace, unity, and prosperity for the nation and urged all citizens to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and compassion that the festival embodies.
He also called on the people to support efforts towards sustainable development and good governance in the state.
“I, Musa Muhammed Maikaya, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maikaya Development Foundation, sincerely extend my Sallah greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
I emphasize the need for national cohesion and urge Nigerians to use this season to reflect on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and charity exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
As Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, I call for prayers, unity, and sustained peace in Nasarawa State and the country. This season reminds us to obey Allah’s instructions, true Muslims should adhere to peace, tolerance, justice, and charity.
I will continue to promote good governance and peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic nationalities in Nasarawa State, which I believe will bring more development to our state.
I urge Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, which has shown genuine leadership in addressing Nigeria’s challenges.
To our amiable Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, I am pleased with the developmental strides of his administration. I urge the people of Nasarawa State to key into his projects aimed at transforming the state to compete with its contemporaries.
To our youths, I advise that the Sallah celebration is a time for sober reflection. You should avoid acts capable of causing disunity and instead organize yourselves in a peaceful manner to make the celebration purposeful.
May Allah accept your sacrifices and bless your hearts with endless peace, prosperity, and joy. Wishing you a sacred and soulful Eid ul-Adha.
