Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Immediate Past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has emphasized the need for enhanced synergy between Local Government Executives, Legislatures, and stakeholders to foster peace, unity, and rapid development at the grassroots level in the State.

As the current Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, Balarabe Abdullahi also urged All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward Officials and other party members to continue promoting the party ideology at the grassroots level in their respective electoral wards across the LG.

Balarabe Abdullahi, who holds the traditional title of Wali Opanda, gave this task when he hosted the Toto LG APC Chairman, the Council’s Secretary, elected Councilors, and APC Ward Chairmen from his constituency Umaisha/Ugya, among others, at his residence in Gwagwalada Area Council of FCT, Abuja.

The former Speaker hosted elected Councilors from 12 Electoral Wards of Toto LG yesterday, Tuesday, and subsequently hosted the 6 APC Ward Chairmen of 6 Electoral Wards of his constituency Umaisha / Ugya on Wednesday.

Balarabe Abfullahi urged them to continue providing maximum support to Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to ensure its success and bring more democratic dividends to the society.

While appreciating their separate visits, he emphasized the importance of unity and peace at all times for development to flourish.

The political leader commended the outstanding achievements of the current administration in the State under Gov. Abdullahi Sule, calling for sustained backing to enable the Governor to succeed by building on the solid foundation he has laid.

He also charged them and other party faithful in the State to continue promoting APC’s ideals in their local areas, thereby strengthening the party in preparation for the 2027 elections.

The APC Chairman of Toto LG and leader of the ward Chairmen from Umaisha / Ugya constituency explained that they visited his residence to show solidarity and pay Sallah homage.

They expressed appreciation for his dedication to his people and the APC party at the grassroots, urging him to maintain his spirit and praying for God’s blessings and guidance.
