Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the immediate past Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has formally announced his intention to contest for the position of National President of the NYCN.
He made this declaration following a meeting with officials from the North Central States, comprising key stakeholders, to discuss the forthcoming National Congress and elections.
Having successfully completed his tenure as Kogi State Chapter Chairman of NYCN, Jeremiah Ojodale is now focusing on his presidential ambition.
Jeremiah Ojodale’s visit to the North Central States is part of his efforts to engage with the youth and connect with young voters in support of his presidential ambition.
He urged the North Central delegates to vote for him overwhelmingly, emphasizing his sufficient leadership experience and expertise to lead the National leadership of the NYCN.
Ojodale previously served as the NANS leader from Kogi State University Anyigba, now Prince Abubakar Audu University, former official of the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Welfare Director for the Eastern Senatorial District in the NYCN leadership before being elected Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of NYCN, a position he held for two years with notable accomplishments.
The former Kogi NYCN Chairman, Comrade Ojodale, believes that the experience and expertise he garnered has equipped him to effectively lead the Council.
Noting that under his leadership, free, fair, and credible elections were conducted in fill in vacancy some Local Government Areas in Kogi State, and he emphasized unity and peace within the Council
Under Ojodale’s leadership, the council organized significant events honoring the administrations of former Governor Yahaya Bello and current Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He thanked both the incumbent and former Governor of Kogi State for affording him the opportunity to serve, describing them as his mentors and leaders to whom he remains indebted.
During his campaign, Ojodale vowed to unify the council and promote accountability in governance—a promise he fulfilled with unwavering dedication.
The aspiring National President expressed his gratitude to the youths of North Central States for their warm reception and pledged to serve with diligence if elected.
He is renowned for his outstanding leadership qualities and humility, maintaining an open office that fostered inclusivity and participation.
He was in the company of key officials from the North Central States of Nigeria.
