Al’mumtaz Academy Keffi to Host 2025 Speech and Prize Day

Al’mumtaz Academy Keffi, will hold its 2025 Speech and Prize Giving Day on Sunday, August 10, 2025.
The event will take place at the Convocation Arena of the State University in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
This was announced by Dr. Musa Ahmad Isa, the Academy’s Director, during an interview with Global Times Nigeria correspondent on Friday, August 8, 2025.
The annual event offers students a platform to showcase their intellectual talents through academic presentations and drama performances that convey important life lessons and ways to overcome challenges.
Some special activities planned for the day include a drama titled “The Headteacher,” a Quran Memorization/Khatma Programme, and the presentation of medals and scholarship awards to the overall best students across all levels—Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary School (JSS), and Senior Secondary School (SSS).
He also announced that high-ranking traditional rulers, including HRH the Emir of Keffi, Alh. Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, HRH Alh. Aliyu K. Daseni, Oba Idanesi II Aidonogie of South Ibie, Edo State, HRH Alh. Muhammed Kasim, the Mai Kanuri of Karu, and Senator Aliyu Wadada (Sarkin Yakin Keffi), will be honored during the event.
The program will also include the issuance of certificates to some teaching staff of the school.
Dr. Musa Ahmad appealed for the cooperation and participation of all stakeholders, especially parents, guardians, and government officials, before, during, and after the event, to enable the school to continue providing quality education for future generations.
Al’mumtaz Academy Keffi has a track record of achieving successes since its inception and is known for grooming future leaders in both moral and academic excellence, contributing to the well-being of society at large.
