Council Chair, Balarabe inspects Federal Polytechnic Damaturu projects, commends quality of work
The Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has inspected the institution’s newly renovated Administrative Block. The renovation covered all parts of the building except the main structural framework, with improvements made to areas including the Rector’s office, other administrative offices, and general facilities inside the block.
The project aimed to enhance the working environment and administrative efficiency within the institution. Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the renovation work during his inspection.
This, he expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done thus reassured of more interventions in the institution to enhance learning and education standard.

A statement issued by the institution’s
Head, Information and Public Relations, Muhammad Nura Nguru and made available to Newsmen indicates that the project was recently completed and officially handed over to the management by the contracting firm, Shuwams Nig. Ltd.
Balarabe commended the Rector and his team for initiating and supervising the renovation saying that the project would create an enabling environment which would significantly enhance staff comfort, productivity, and overall efficiency.
“This will create a conducive working environment and promote happiness while at work.
” I am confident that this Administrative Block will improve staff productivity and compatibility in their workplace,” he said.
He assured of his inputs and support at all times to the development of the institution.
Besides, Balarabe also commended Shuwams Nig. Ltd. for delivering a high-standard and satisfactory project.
On his part, the Rector of the Institution, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, who conducted the Chairman round the facility, took him through the Rector’s office, committee room, waiting room, Council Chamber, kitchen, and the additional toilets among other expansions.
Dr. Bashir noted that the contractor delivered an excellent job thereby meeting all specifications and completing the project within the agreed timeframe.
The Rector assured of his synergy with the Governing Council of the institution for the overall development of the polytechnic.
He appreciated the Institution’s Governing Council Chairman, Balarabe for ensuring that the right things was done for the development of the institution.
It would be reported that Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, who was in the Polytechnic for the Council’s regular meeting, was accompanied by other Council members, including Hon. Mustapha Zirami, Abdullahi Hamza and Kaltume Muazu, as well as internal members of the Council, among others.
