Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi, the representative for Kokona East in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has denied rumors of defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to another political party.
These claims appear to stem from recent political speculations amid defections by other lawmakers in the state. Ogazi remains committed to the APC, focusing on constituency development like recent distributions of vehicles and aid to his constituents.
The lawmaker dispelled the rumor while flagging off distribution of palliatives for yuletide in Garaku, Kokona Loal government area on Saturday.
This time around, the Lawmaker is targeting the vulnerable, rural dwellers and Party stakeholders across the entire 11 electoral wards of Kokona LGA of the State.
And to kick start the distribution, the lawmaker dolled out 10 million naria and bags of 50kg.of rice to party officials, a political group APC canvassers at the grassroots and officials of tribal groups.
The gesture Hon. Ogazi noted will be replicated in the nook and cranny of Kokona local government to give all and Sundry a sense of belonging.

On the rumor of his planned defection from the rulling All Progressive Congress APC, Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi disclosed that he championed the formation of CPC in Kokona local government which metamorphosed to the the rulling All Progressive Congress APC today.
This he said will be unfair and unwise for him to leave the house he built for other people to enjoy.
He described the speculations as the handwork of mischief makers who are out to blackmail him assuring the rumor makers that they will fail.
He called on his supporters and the public to disregard the speculation and remain peaceful, committed to constituted authorities and support the party and government at all times to succeed.
The member representing Kokona East Constituency also used the medium to call on those canvasing for him to contest for the seat of House of Representatives for Keffi, Karu and Kokona federal constituency to exercise patience as he is still working hard to fulfilled his mandate and campaign promises he made with the people of Kokona East Constituency.
The APC Chairman of Kokona local government, Hon. Terry Bado and former chairman of the local government, Awalu Adamu joined the beneficiaries to appreciate Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi for his compassionate leadership.
They said it will be unfair and disservice to the rural dwellers for Hon. Oga to keep neglecting the calls on him to seek high position in the next election hence the need for him to re-think and answer the calls of his people.
