APC Kogi West Endorses Tinubu, Karimi for Second Term

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi West Senatorial District has unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Sunday Karimi for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections, in a resounding display of solidarity that drew stakeholders from across the zone.

 

The endorsement came during the inauguration of the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF), which mobilized 10,000 grassroots coordinators to champion the reelection bids of the president and the senator representing Kogi West, with the motion moved by Hon.

 

Henry Ojuola and swiftly seconded through a thunderous voice vote that echoed the district’s unwavering support. Attended by party faithful from the seven local government areas and 84 wards constituting the senatorial district, the event pulsated with optimism as speakers took turns extolling President Tinubu’s unprecedented accomplishments in steering Nigeria’s economy and infrastructure renaissance, while hailing Senator Karimi’s exemplary representation that has brought tangible relief and development to his constituents, predicting his return to the Red Chamber by divine grace and popular acclaim.

 

In his address, the Chairman of KPSF, Captain Idris Wada, a former governor of Kogi State who was represented by Sanni Philips, reaffirmed the forum’s commitment to delivering sweeping victories for the APC at all electoral levels, expressing confidence that Kogi State would hand President Tinubu a landslide triumph in 2027.

 

The stakeholders lavished praise on the president’s transformative initiatives, including the ambitious coastal line project, massive infrastructure build-up, and bold economic reforms credited with reshaping Nigeria’s fortunes, even as they spotlighted Senator Karimi’s scorecard of empowerment programmes that have uplifted women and youths, the construction of a forward military base to bolster security, and the provision of bursaries to ease educational burdens for indigent students.

 

The gathering reached a jubilant crescendo with the formal inauguration of ward and zonal coordinators dedicated to the reelection campaigns, capping off the day with celebrations for Senator Karimi’s 64th birthday, marked by the cutting of a ceremonial cake amid cheers that underscored the zone’s unbreakable loyalty to the APC leadership.
