The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant for the 2027 elections in Nasarawa State, Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of one of his loyal supporters, Mallam Umar Adamu, from Toto Local Government Area, who lost his life in a tragic motor accident.
Dr. Maikaya in a statement issued on Saturday and made available to newsmen via his Media Office, described the incident as painful and unfortunate, noting that the late Umar Adamu’s demise represents a significant loss not only to his immediate family but also to friends, associates, and the wider Toto community.
In a demonstration of compassion and solidarity, Dr. Maikaya visited the General Hospital in Abaji, where other victims of the accident are currently receiving treatment. During the visit, he commiserated with the injured and offered words of encouragement.
He prayed for their quick recovery and urged them to remain hopeful despite the unfortunate circumstances.
Dr. Maikaya also offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased, asking Almighty God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
He further prayed for the bereaved family, seeking divine strength and fortitude for them to bear the irreparable loss.
