Controversial social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has refuted a report by Sahara Reporters alleging that he held a secret midnight meeting with the Inspector-General of Police.
In a swift reaction, VeryDarkMan called out the publisher of the platform, Omoyele Sowore, expressing disappointment over the claim and demanding evidence to substantiate the allegation.
“If you can prove that I had a meeting with the Inspector General of Police, I will delete my social media accounts. But if you cannot provide proof within one hour, you should take down Sahara Reporters. He who alleges must prove,” he stated.
The online commentator further insisted that the report was unfounded and challenged its credibility, adding that the burden of proof rests on those making the accusation.

VeryDarkMan also suggested that his rising influence may be unsettling to some quarters, noting that he remains committed to maintaining his public presence.
“I stand by my integrity and what I say. Your integrity is what is being questioned here,” he added.
The allegation has since generated reactions on social media, with supporters and critics weighing in on the dispute.
