The Zainab Lawal Bature Foundation has graduated over 40 trainees in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, and distributed starter packs to support their entrepreneurial ventures.

The foundation’s efforts to empower individuals, especially widows, orphans, and the less privileged, have received praise from beneficiaries and dignitaries.

Former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Silas Agara, and Sen. John Danboyi commended the foundation’s work, highlighting its impact on the community. The foundation’s focus on empowerment aligns with Nigeria’s efforts to promote education and development.

The starter packs are expected to help the trainees establish sustainable businesses and improve their livelihoods. The foundation’s initiative is a step towards reducing poverty and promoting economic growth in the region.

The Zainab Lawal Bature Foundation has graduated over 40 trainees, earning praise from beneficiaries including former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Silas Agara, and Sen. John Danboyi, who attended the event in Akwanga on Saturday.

Agara and Danboyi commended Hajiya Zainab’s foundation for empowering individuals, especially widows, orphans, and the less privileged. Agara, immediate past Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and aspirant for the Nasarawa North by-election, promised NDE’s continued partnership with the foundation to support the less privileged.

Oriye Rindre, Lawal Musa Nagogo, described the foundation’s efforts as commendable and pledged support to expand its reach. Zainab Lawal Bature, Founder and CEO, said 45 people, including widows, orphans, and the less privileged, have benefited from the foundation’s programs over the past two years, despite challenging conditions.

The foundation’s focus on empowerment aligns with Nigeria’s efforts to promote education and development.
