Tashas Picks APC Nomination Forms for Toto/Gadabuke Assembly Race
Former Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has officially declared his intention to contest the Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency seat in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, following his purchase of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms.
Tashas obtained the forms at the APC State Secretariat in Lafia on Monday, in the company of party stakeholders, supporters, and chieftains from Toto and Gadabuke districts, signalling heightened preparations ahead of the party’s primary elections.
In a statement issued by his Media Director, Yahaya Idris Toto, the development underscores the aspirant’s readiness to actively participate in the forthcoming primaries.
Addressing journalists shortly after, Tashas pledged to provide effective and people-oriented representation, assuring constituents of his commitment to equitable distribution of resources and inclusive governance if elected.
He also expressed gratitude to the people of Toto Local Government Area, particularly those in the Toto/Gadabuke constituency, for the support and confidence reposed in him during and after his tenure as Executive Chairman of the council.
Tashas, a former Special Adviser on Conflict Resolution to the Nasarawa State Governor, reiterated his resolve to advance the interests of the constituency and contribute meaningfully to its development.
