Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has extended his condolences to Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada following the death of his stepmother, Hajiya Aisha Danyaya.

Sule paid a condolence visit to the senator in Keffi on Friday, describing the loss as painful and urging the family to remain steadfast in faith.

Wadada, who represents Nasarawa West in the Senate, is also a governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor was accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Benue State, Sam Ode, alongside other prominent figures.

Also present were the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, and former Speaker, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, among other dignitaries.

The delegation urged Wadada and his family to accept the death as the will of God and take solace in Him, offering prayers for the repose of the deceased’s soul.

They prayed for God to forgive her shortcomings, reward her good deeds with Aljannatul Firdausi, and grant the family the strength and comfort to bear the loss.

In his response, Wadada expressed gratitude to Governor Sule and the delegation for their support and solidarity during the period of mourning, praying that God would reward them abundantly.
