Tinubu to Receive APC Certificate of Return, Party Flag for 2027 Presidential Election
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Sunday officially receive the certificate of return and the flag of the All Progressives Congress as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
According to a State House press release issued on Saturday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the presentation ceremony will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
The statement noted that the APC Presidential Primary Elections Committee will present the certificate and party flag to President Tinubu following the nationwide collation of results from the party’s presidential primaries.
The event is expected to attract APC governors, members of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), the National Working Committee (NWC), members of the National Assembly, and other party stalwarts from across the country.
