Oparah Congratulates Gov. Otti on Emergence as Labour Party Governorship Candidate for 2027

The National Organizing Secretary of the Labour Party, LP, and Chairman of the Party’s Governorship Primary Electoral Committee, Mrs. Oluchi Oparah, has congratulated Abia State Governor, Alex Chioma Otti, on his victory at the Labour Party governorship primary election and emergence as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 governorship election.
In a congratulatory message issued shortly after the primary election, Oparah, who also served as the Returning Officer, described Governor Otti’s victory as a reflection of the confidence, trust, and overwhelming support he continues to enjoy among party members and the people of Abia State.
She noted that the governor’s administration has distinguished itself through purposeful leadership, fiscal discipline, infrastructural development, transparency, and policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.
According to her, the outcome of the primary election underscores the party’s belief in Governor Otti’s capacity to sustain the developmental strides recorded in the state and further advance the vision of a prosperous and progressive Abia.
Oparah expressed optimism that the governor would build on his achievements and deliver even greater accomplishments if re-elected in 2027.
She also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, protection, and good health for the governor as he prepares for the next phase of the electoral process.
“Your victory is not merely a political achievement; it is a reaffirmation of the confidence and trust that the people of Abia State have continued to place in your visionary leadership,” she stated.
The Labour Party chieftain further expressed confidence that Governor Otti’s legacy of service and development would continue to inspire future generations, while urging party members and supporters to remain united ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
She concluded by reaffirming the party’s commitment to supporting the governor’s re-election bid, expressing confidence that the future remains bright for Abia State under his leadership.
