The immediate past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Jibrin Abdullahi Ndagi, the Talban Toto, following his death.

Balarabe, who also serves as Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, visited Toto Local Government Area on Tuesday alongside his entourage to sympathize with the bereaved family.

During the visit, the former Speaker expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the revered community leader, describing his death as painful and a monumental loss not only to the family but also to the entire Toto community.

He noted that the late Talban Toto was a respected figure whose demise has created a significant vacuum.

According to Balarabe, the deceased had recently visited him in Umaisha during his homecoming, a gesture he said reflected the cordial relationship they shared.

He prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and reward his good deeds with Aljannatul Firdaus, while also granting the family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Balarabe reminded mourners that life and death remain in the hands of God, urging the family and the community to accept the loss as the will of Allah and continue to pray for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.

Responding on behalf of the family, Musa Ndagi, younger brother of the deceased, expressed gratitude to the former Speaker for identifying with the family during their moment of grief.

He prayed for Allah’s abundant blessings upon Balarabe and members of his entourage, while wishing them a safe journey back to their respective destinations.
