Lokoja APC Chieftain Sam Abenemi Commends Gov Ododo’s Giant Strides in Security

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja Local Government Area and former deputy governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Hon. Samuel Abenemi, has commended Ahmed Usman Ododo for what he described as remarkable achievements in tackling insecurity across Kogi State.
Abenemi gave the commendation while addressing journalists recently in Lokoja, where he praised Governor Ododo’s proactive and strategic approach to strengthening security in the state.
He specifically lauded the governor’s timely procurement of armored security vehicles and other advanced security gadgets, noting that the move has significantly boosted the operational capacity of security agencies in combating criminal activities.
The APC leader also congratulated Governor Ododo on his recent recognition as Governor of the Year on Security, describing the award as well-deserved and a clear reflection of his visionary leadership, commitment, and tireless efforts toward protecting lives and property in Kogi State.
According to Abenemi, since assuming office, Governor Ododo has demonstrated courage, responsiveness, and strategic leadership in addressing security challenges across the state.
He noted that through effective collaboration with security agencies, community stakeholders, and local vigilante groups, the Ododo administration has strengthened Kogi State’s security architecture, leading to improved peace and stability.
Abenemi further stated that under Ododo’s leadership, Kogi has witnessed significant improvements in public safety, creating a conducive environment for economic growth, investment, and social development.
He added that the governor’s proactive measures and timely interventions have continued to inspire confidence among residents and investors, positioning Kogi as a reference point for effective security governance in Nigeria.
