The Director-General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, Dr. (Barr.) Wilfred Latimore Oghenesivbe, JP, has been nominated for the Leadership in Media and Communication Strategy Award at the 2026 Delta Icons of Goodwill Awards, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to strategic communication, public affairs administration, leadership, and good governance.

The nomination was formally conveyed through an official letter issued by the Board of Management of the Delta Icons of Goodwill Awards, which described Dr. Oghenesivbe as a distinguished strategic communication expert, public relations professional, legal practitioner, political scientist, and public affairs administrator whose exceptional career achievements have continued to make significant impacts within Delta State and across Nigeria.

His academic credentials include qualifications in Political Science, Law, Mass Communication, Public and International Affairs, and Information Management Strategy.
