The newly inaugurated media team of the Wadada Project has been charged to take the campaign message of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada to communities across Nasarawa State ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The charge was given by the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the project and Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Kwanta Yakubu, during the inauguration of the media team in Akwanga on Tuesday.
The event, held at Risingon Hotel along Wamba Road, was attended by members and supporters of the Wadada Project from different parts of the state.

Yakubu said the media team was constituted with representatives drawn from the 13 local government areas of Nasarawa State.
He explained that the members were selected because of their commitment to promoting the ideals of the APC and their experience in using social media to engage with the public.
The commissioner urged them to use their platforms to promote positive messages and communicate the achievements and political vision of Senator Wadada.
He, however, cautioned the team against unnecessary confrontation, stressing the importance of civility, professionalism and responsible communication.
Yakubu said the objective should be to convince voters through facts, effective communication and a positive political agenda.
He also urged members to promote the interests of other APC candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
Two former commissioners in the state, Alhaji Abdulhamid Kwara and Dr Ibrahim Tanko, advised the media team to respect the rules guiding information dissemination.
They described the Wadada Project as an initiative capable of generating broad political support if properly communicated to the people.
The former commissioners expressed confidence in the prospects of the APC in the 2027 elections and called on residents to support what they described as the “moving train to success.”
The Wadada Project is promoting its activities under the slogan, “One Nasarawa, One Vision, One Future,” which emphasises unity and a common vision for the state.
