Christian told to always be conscious of time in service to God and Humanity
Senior Pastor of Tabor Christian Ministry opposite Harmony Secondary School Phase one Lokoja, Mrs Oluwadare Julius Blessing gave the charge in a sermon.
Mrs Olwadare who spoke on the value of time in God’s presence said God is a God of time and season and urged Christian to respect time spent in the service of God.
She emphasised that individual will account for the time spent on earth noting that, time like currency must be properly utilised to attract profit.
The cleric who spoke from the book of Genesis chapter one verse fourteen and Hebrew thirteen verse eight advised Christian to shun all forms of laxity, lateness during church hours and other spiritual activities.
Her words ” on the last day, we will all account for how we spent our time. Christian must be time conscious. If time is not well spent, there is need for healing in that regards. When it is God’s time for an individual, there will always be mercy. God will access how our time was spent. Whether for good or bad. When people are testifying and there is no testimony for you, check how you spent your time”.
The senior Pastor admonished Christian to shun flimsy excuses for failures in God’s presence and be ready to take responsibility for their actions.
