Nasarawa Governor to inaugurate newly elected council chairmen Monday

Engineer Abdullahi Sule, Governor of Nasarawa State, is scheduled to swear in the recently elected local government chairmen tomorrow, Monday 4th November, 2024

In a statement issued on Sunday, Nasarawa State Government Secretary, Barrister Mohammed Ubandoma Aliyu, announced that Governor Sule will perform the swearing-in ceremony on Monday at 8:30 am at the Government House’s Late Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall.

The occasion is expected to be graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, key officials and members of the state assembly, Nasarawa State Chief Judge, Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu, members of the Nasarawa State Executive Council, and Dr. Aliyu Bello, Chairman of the Nasarawa State All Progressives Congress (APC), along with other distinguished guests.

The Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) held successful local government elections on November 2 to fill the vacancies that arose upon the expiration of the former council officials’ tenure.
