Maikaya Development Foundation electrifies Mararaba Building Materials Association with solar power

Dr. Musa Muhammed Musa Maikaya, Chairman and Founder of the Maikaya Development Foundation, has presented fifteen solar-powered streetlights to the Mararaba Building Materials Association in Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
The commissioning was carried out by Hon. Shuaibu Sani, Chief Operating Officer of Maikaya Development Foundation, on behalf of Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya on Saturday.
Dr. Maikaya stated that the provision of solar-powered streetlights is one of several humanitarian endeavors implemented by the foundation to alleviate the suffering of the people. He referenced the recent awarding of scholarships to over 500 indigent students across Nasarawa State, without regard to tribal affiliation, religious creed, or background.
Dr. Maikaya emphasized that the solar-powered streetlights represent a starting point for a series of humanitarian endeavors to be launched in the area in the near future. He appealed to the beneficiaries to assume complete ownership of the project by maintaining it for the benefit of the entire community.
Dr. Maikaya assured the building materials association that the Maikaya Development Foundation will broaden its initiatives to other areas for the benefit of all, emphasizing that the foundation’s doors are open to every organization for assistance.
Mr. Christopher Ibeh, Chairman of Mararaba Building Materials Association, thanked Dr. Maikaya in his response for extending a helping hand. He noted that the installation of solar-powered streetlights has greatly improved security in the market.
Ibeh observed that the market has been in operation for over 20 years, yet no politician has made a similar gesture, with the exception of Dr. Maikaya. He pledged the association’s full support for Dr. Maikaya’s future endeavors.
Ibeh expressed deep gratitude to Dr. Maikaya for the exceptional project and his tireless efforts towards the market’s development. He prayed for God’s ongoing blessings and rewards for Dr. Maikaya.
The presentation of an official letter of appreciation to the representative of Dr. Mohammed Musa Maikaya, CEO of Maikaya Development Foundation, was the highlight of the commissioning ceremony.
