Barrister Salisu Ibrahim Ohis, former Deputy Chief Registrar at the Customary Court of Appeal headquarters in Abuja, has expressed his gratitude to friends, politicians, associates, and other Nigerians who attended his son Abduljalal’s wedding in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, on Friday.
The wedding ceremony of Abduljala Ibrahim Ohis and Zainab Ahmed was attended by prominent leaders including Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, the former gubernatorial aspirant for the 2019 election, Dr. Shuaib Faisal, immediate past National Primary Health Development Agency (NPHDA), Hon Yahaya Ohinoyi Usman, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), deputy governorship candidate for the 2023 election, Hon Mohammed Garba Isimbabi, member representing Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, immediate past Executive chairman of Toto local government area, Hon Musa Mohammed Ohinoyi (General), former Chairman of Toto local government area, Hon Labaran Shafa, immediate past House of Assembly member for Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Aibro, former house of representatives representing Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency, Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye representing Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency, Osana of Keana, paramount ruler of Keana
Other notable leaders in attendance include Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Osada from Universal Basic Education Abuja, Rt. Hon Umar Aliyu, Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and his assembly members, Hon Abdullahi Adamu, the Executive Chairman of Lokoja LG, party leaders and supporters from Toto local government, and many others.
Barrister Salisu Ibrahim Ohis expressed gratitude to God for making his son Abduljalal’s wedding a successful event and prayed for journey mercies for all attendees.
The Toto LG born legal luminary also thanked those who could not attend but showed their support through prayers and encouragement.
Global Times Nigeria reports that the reception was held immediately after the wedding solemnisation behind AKK hotel along Government House road in Lokoja.
