Nasarawa’s Lone Female Legislator, Dr. Danyaro, vows to end water scarcity in her constituency
Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, the Member representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has vowed to end water scarcity in her constituency before the end of her tenure.
The only female legislator has been actively drilling boreholes across the seven electoral wards under the Tafisu Rural Water Project, aiming to provide clean and accessible water to her constituents.
The initiative is part of her campaign promises and ongoing efforts to deliver democratic dividends, with several boreholes already completed and more underway to cover all wards before her tenure ends
This came to light in her continue effort to provide water across all the electoral wards in her constituency.

Hon. Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim and Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs, APC Nasarawa Central at the weekend flagged off another drilling of two borehole at Gangaren bage, Nasarawa central ward and kofar Alh. Ashata, Nasarawa main town ward.
The Lawmaker said the initiative was in fulfillment of her campaign promise to drilled borehole in each of the 7 electoral wards of Nasarawa central constituency.
Dr. Danyaro said that so far with the additional two, Six out of the Seven wards has benefited from the Tafisu Rural Water Scheme promising to complete the remaining one and initiate more for the betterment of her people.
“This effort was aimed at providing potable water to my constituents, and provide more dividends of democracy to the people” She said.
“I have drilled 6 boreholes in six electoral wards so far in less than 2 years and more are on the pipeline” She said.
The lawmaker commended her constituents for their continued support and assured of a responsive and effective representation that would translate into tangible gains for the people of Nasarawa Central.

The benefiting communities and residents appreciated the lawmaker for prioritizing the welfare of her constituents.
They urged her not to relent, assuring her of full support and prayers to succeed beyond 2027.
