DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: RECRUITMENT/ENLISTMENT OF SUITABLY QUALIFIED NIGERIANS NTO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE AS POLICE CONSTABLES
IN compliance with the directive of the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, THE POLICE SERVICE COMMISSION (PSC) invite applications from suitable qualified Nigerians and Youth of Delta State, Male and Female, for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as police constables.

The categories of entry include the following; General Duty Recruits, Medical Assistance, Drivers, Mechanics, Auto Electricians, Dispatch and Escort Riders, Forensic Assistants, Robotics and Drones, General EOD-CBRN operatives, Dog Handlers and Horse Riders.
Other categories of entry are; Dockhand/Able Seaman, Lunch Quartermaster, Underwriter Welders, Electrical and Electronic Technicians, Lathe Machine Operators, Drivers, Machine Engineer Assistants, and Boat Mechanics. Also needed are constables in the following areas; Artisans, Tailoring, Communication, Information Technology, and Musical Equipment Suppliers.
Interested individuals must meet requirements such as being a Nigerian citizen by birth, between 18 and 25 years for general duty applicants, and not more than 28 years for Specialist Applicants.
GENERAL DUTY Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE or NECO and other equivalents with a minimum of 5 credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
SPECIALIST APPLICANTS must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE or NECO and other equivalents with a minimum of 4 credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings. A minimum of three years experience and Trade Tests in relevant fields/areas is required.
ALL APPLICANTS must have a National Identification Number (NIN), Functional Email Account and Phone Number for all correspondence, must not have been convicted of any criminal offence(s), must present two (2) character referees, must be physically and mentally fit, and must be of good character. GENERAL DUTY APPLICANTS must not be less than 1.67m in height for males and 1.64m in height for females. In addition, Expanded Chest Measurement For General Duty Males must not be less than 86cm (34 inches).
FEMALE APPLICANTS must NOT be PREGNANT at the time of entry and throughout the duration of training. All Applicants must be free from financial embarrassments, no defective eyesight, knock knees, bow legs, bent arms/legs, and no previous amputation of any part of the body.
