NdokwaForward Hails Oborevwori Over Minor Cabinet Reshuffle, Welcomes Redeployment of Ndokwa Sons
A foremost political pressure group in Ndokwa Nation, NdokwaForward, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the recent minor cabinet reshuffle, describing it as a timely and strategic move aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery.
In a statement issued on Thursday, jointly signed by Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Sam Osasa, Dr. George Ugbomah and Chief Isaac Onyesom, the group said the reshuffle reflects the Governor’s responsiveness to the evolving demands of governance and his commitment to excellence, innovation and results-driven leadership.

According to NdokwaForward, the adjustment will inject fresh ideas, renewed energy and greater administrative vigour into the operations of the state government.
The group expressed particular delight over the redeployment of two sons of Ndokwa Nation, noting that the decision underscores the Governor’s confidence in their competence and dedication to duty.
NdokwaForward specifically lauded the redeployment of Hon. Ifeanyi Michael Anoka from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Power and Energy, describing the ministry as critical to industrial growth, economic expansion and sustainable development in the state.
The group said the move demonstrates trust in Anoka’s capacity to drive reforms and deliver measurable outcomes in a strategic sector.
Similarly, the group welcomed the redeployment of Dr. Kingsley Ashibogu from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education, describing it as a well-considered alignment of experience and expertise.
It expressed confidence that his leadership and administrative skills would enhance the quality and impact of secondary education across Delta State.
NdokwaForward noted that the cabinet reshuffle aligns with Governor Oborevwori’s Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, which prioritises efficiency, competence and purposeful leadership, while reinforcing confidence in the administration’s vision for accelerated development and inclusive progress.
The group also offered prayers for the Governor, the Deputy Governor and members of the State Executive Council, asking for divine wisdom and strength to deliver on the aspirations of Deltans.
The statement further congratulated Hon. Anoka and Dr. Ashibogu on their redeployments and wished them success in their continued service to the state.
