Gov Sule Lauds ‘Outstanding’ Performance, Urges APC E-Registration for 2027 Victory

Member representing Keffi West in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Aliyu Nana, has doled out empowerment items worth N90 million to constituents, fulfilling key campaign promises under his “2026 Empowerment Initiative: A Legacy of Human Capital Development.”

The event, held Saturday at the Emir’s Palace in Keffi, saw the distribution of 56 motorcycles, 20 sewing machines, N27 million in cash, and fully funded scholarships for over 20 students at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and College of Health Sciences and Technology, Keffi.

Governor Abdullahi Sule, represented by Information, Culture and Tourism Commissioner Dr. Ibrahim Tanko, hailed Nana’s “outstanding performance,” describing the gesture as vital for economic empowerment.

“This is the kind of initiative needed to uplift our people,” Sule said through his aide.

The governor enjoined residents to embrace peace, unity, and support for government policies while urging All Progressives Congress (APC) members to join the ongoing party e-registration drive. “It’s the path to victory in 2027 elections,” he stressed.

Nana, the Deputy Chief Whip, thanked constituents for their 2023 electoral support, vowing more in his remaining 18 months.

“From 2024 to 2025, I funded scholarships for 53 students, the first of its kind here, covering them from Year One to graduation,” he said.

“My focus remains education, health, empowerment, electricity, infrastructure, and roads, areas that directly impact lives. I’ll do even more,” Nana added.

The colourful ceremony drew critical stakeholders, including Keffi LGA Executive Chairman, Hon. Idris Ahmad Damagani, APC National Deputy Secretary Abdulareem Kana, Keffi APC Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Bello Yakubu, Dangaladiman Keffi Abubakar Gada, and Gov. Sule’s Western Zone Coordinator Alhaji Yusuf Attajiri.

They all commended Nana’s impact, urging sustained tempo and calling for his support beyond 2027.

Beneficiaries from the five wards, Iya I, Iya II, Tudun Kofa, Hangaren Tudu, and Yara, included party leaders, elders, women, youths, and support groups.
