The event drew top party brass, including Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, and Deputy National Secretary, Prof. Abdulkarim A. Kana, SAN.

Speaking at the colourful ceremony, Prof. Yilwatda described youths as the backbone of the APC’s future and key drivers of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The APC recognises the strategic importance of the youth demographic in sustaining democracy and deepening party structures across the country,” Yilwatda declared.

He tasked the NYF to spread the gospel of registration, participation, and party ownership to young people in every community.

Prof. Yilwatda assured the federation of the National Working Committee’s full support, stressing that youth mobilisation would fortify the APC for upcoming elections.

“The National Working Committee will work hand in hand with this organisation to ensure that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu resonates with young Nigerians at the grassroots, in both urban and rural areas,” he added.

Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, who also spoke, emphasised youth engagement as central to the party’s long-term stability. “When young people are properly mobilised and given a sense of belonging, the party becomes stronger and more united,” Dalori stated, urging the group to align with APC’s constitution and objectives.

Prof. Abdulkarim A. Kana, SAN, the Deputy National Secretary, hailed the initiative as timely and strategic for consolidating the party’s support base.

“This is the kind of structured engagement the party needs to consolidate its support base and prepare for the future,” Kana affirmed.

Earlier, National Coordinator of the NYF, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani, said the group visited the secretariat to formally notify APC leaders of its existence and commitment to party work.

“We are here to officially present ourselves to the National Chairman and members of the National Working Committee,” Sani declared.

“Our mission is to work with the party from the ward level to the national level to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” he added.
