Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, on Saturday made a grand entrance into Koton-Karfe, the bustling administrative headquarters of Kogi Local Government Area, where he was honoured with a brand new chieftaincy title, Sodanji Daudu Koton-Karfe’, by the vibrant Hausa community.

The conferment, which dreenthusiastically stic crowd of community leaders, traditional rulers from various communities, and well-wishers, underscored the growing recognition of Barr. Osuku’s exemplary leadership and contributions to public service in Kogi State, marking yet another milestone in his illustrious career dedicated to advancing civil service reforms and fostering unity across ethnic divides.

Accompanying the distinguished chairman on this memorable occasion were top echelons of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, including permanent member 2, directors, trusted aides, and a legion of ardent supporters, all of whom formed a formidable entourage that added pomp and circumstance to the event.

Their presence not only symbolized the solidarity within the commission but also highlighted the widespread admiration for Barr. Tanko who also served as former Chairman of Kogi LG emphasized that this honour, shared among nine other distinguished recipients, would ignite renewed zeal in them to redouble their efforts in serving not just the Hausa community, but the entire Igu Koton-Karfe Kingdom, Kogi Local Government Area, and Kogi State at large, promising tangible contributions towards development, unity, and prosperity in the area.

Barr. Tanko Osuku further assured the gathering that the titles conferred would never be taken for granted or misplaced, vowing to uphold the responsibilities with utmost diligence and integrity, while extending special thanks to His Royal Majesty, Ohimegye Igu Koton-Karfe Kingdom, Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering support to his subjects.

According to him, Dr. Akawu Salihu role in fostering peace and progress should be lauded as a beacon of hope, noting that such royal endorsement strengthens communal bonds and motivates public servants like himself to bridge ethnic divides and drive inclusive dividends of democracy to the people of host LG.
