The Federal Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), Aliyu Tijjani Ahmad, has declared that stakeholders in Nasarawa State’s Western Zone will rally behind Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s decision endorsing Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus governorship candidate.
Ahmad said consultations and mobilisation efforts are already in progress across the zone to build widespread support for the governor’s position.
He noted that party loyalists, community leaders, and indigenous residents are being actively engaged to ensure acceptance at the grassroots.
“I want to assure His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, that we will move from community to community to ensure that our supporters and the entire Western Zone stand firmly behind this decision,” he said.
He emphasised the importance of unity within the APC, stressing that cohesive action among stakeholders would be key to strengthening the party’s structure and electoral prospects.
According to him, sustained grassroots mobilisation will not only reinforce internal cohesion but also position the party strongly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
