Eid-el-Kabir: Ododo’s Aide John Nihi Felicitates Bashir Gegu

The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Oladele John Nihi, has extended warm felicitations to the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Hon. Bashiru Gegu, on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists, Hon. Nihi described the commissioner as a committed public servant, dependable grassroots mobiliser, and strong advocate of youth development and empowerment in Kogi State.

He noted that Hon. Bashir Gegu has continued to distinguish himself through dedication to the welfare and progress of the people, particularly in creating opportunities and support systems that enable young people to thrive.

According to him, the commissioner’s style of leadership and commitment to inclusive governance remain worthy of commendation and emulation.

“On behalf of the youths and students of Kogi State, I heartily congratulate Hon. Bashir Gegu on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration. Your consistent commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots development, and inclusive leadership remains admirable,” he stated.

Hon. Nihi further prayed that the Eid-el-Kabir celebration would usher in renewed peace, wisdom, blessings, and greater strength for the commissioner and his family as he continues to serve the people of the state.

He also urged Muslim faithful across Kogi State and Nigeria to use the sacred occasion to promote peace, unity, sacrifice, tolerance, and love in line with the teachings of Islam.
