Former Toto LG Chairman Tashas Leads Supporters in 2027 Consultations

The immediate past Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas, on Sunday hosted members of his political group, the Aquatic Support Group, in Gadabuke District, where discussions centered on the political direction ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Tashas, a former aspirant for the Nasarawa State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Toto/Gadabuke Constituency, met with his supporters, largely drawn from Gadabuke District, to deliberate on the way forward as political activities gradually gather momentum.

In a communique issued after the meeting, Tashas stressed the need for continuity, unity, and collective responsibility in sustaining the developmental strides recorded under the present administration in the state.
He urged constituents, party faithful, and other stakeholders to remain steadfast and committed to the ideals and vision of the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that unity within the party remains critical to future electoral success.
The former council chairman also called for total support toward the emergence of second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and credible successor to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu as Governor of Nasarawa State in the 2027 general elections.
He also told his supporters to work for the victory of Dr. Faisal Shuaib for Nasarawa West Senate and as well as Hon. Mohammed Yerima Al-basheer for House of representatives seat for Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency
According to him, preserving the vision, policies, and achievements of the current administration is essential to ensuring sustained growth, peace, and stability in Nasarawa State.
Hon. Tashas reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Toto Local Government Area and the broader Gadabuke Constituency, pledging to continue collaborating with stakeholders to promote sustainable development and improve the welfare of the people.
