There was jubilation and excitement in Isiokolo, Kokori Local Government Area of Delta State, as family members, friends, business associates, and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to celebrate the dedication ceremony of the newborn child (Dora) of Mr. and Mrs. Imoni Ogheneakpobo.

The event, held on Monday, attracted dignitaries from far and near, turning the community into a beehive of activities as guests trooped in to identify with the joyous family occasion.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of clergymen, politicians, business associates, friends, and well-wishers, many of whom described the arrival of a child into a family as a priceless blessing from God and a source of immense joy.

Speaking during the celebration, Mr. Imoni Ogheneakpobo, Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Government attached to the Office of the Director-General, Delta State Communications Bureau, expressed profound gratitude to God for the gift of the newborn child.

He described the birth of the child as a divine blessing and assured guests that the child would be raised in a godly manner in line with biblical teachings and values.

Mr. Ogheneakpobo also appreciated all guests who traveled to Kokori to celebrate with his family, noting that their presence added great joy and made the occasion truly memorable.

He further expressed heartfelt appreciation to his principal, the Director-General of the Delta State Communications Bureau, Hon. (Barr.) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, for his continuous support, encouragement, and goodwill toward him and his family.

The dedication ceremony ended on a joyful note with prayers, goodwill messages, and merriment as guests celebrated the family’s newest addition.
