The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Youth Network West Africa (APCYN-WA), Hon. Olatunde Gideon Igbasan, has said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to reforming Nigeria’s image and creating opportunities for young people to maximise their potential.

Speaking during a live television interview, Igbasan urged Nigerian youths to embrace their role as responsible digital ambassadors by using social media platforms to project a positive image of the country and promote values of unity, patriotism, and excellence.

According to him, every online interaction contributes to shaping global perceptions of Nigeria, making it imperative for young Nigerians to use digital platforms responsibly.

“Every post, comment, and video shapes the world’s perception of Nigeria. Let our voices reflect excellence, unity, and patriotism,” he said.

The APC Youth Network West Africa boss maintained that the Tinubu administration recognises the importance of youth participation in national development and is providing platforms for young people to innovate, contribute meaningfully, and showcase Nigeria’s strengths to the international community.

He called on Nigerian youths to leverage the power of digital media to foster national cohesion, counter negative narratives, and contribute to building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

Igbasan encourage young Nigerians to work collectively towards projecting a positive national identity, stressing that the country’s transformation begins with individual actions”one post at a time.”
