Oworo Youth Network Endorses Senator Karimi for 2027, Unveils Campaign Materials in Early Re-Election Push

A political support group, Oworo Youth Network for Karimi, has formally declared its backing for the re-election of the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement came on Monday when members of the group paid a solidarity visit to the senator at his office in Abuja, where they presented branded campaign materials as a demonstration of their support for his second-term bid
The campaign items presented included branded face caps, T-shirts and stickers bearing Senator Karimi’s name and photograph, signalling what observers describe as an early mobilisation effort ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Karimi Hails Youth Suppor
Receiving the delegation, Senator Karimi described the gesture as a significant show of loyalty and commitment, noting that it was the first time such an initiative had come from the Oworo axis of Kogi West.
“I sincerely appreciate you for this gesture. It shows commitment and love for the people of Kogi West. I will always be available for you whenever my support is needed,” the senator said.
Karimi expressed gratitude to the group for its confidence in his leadership, assuring members that their support would inspire him to intensify efforts toward delivering more democratic dividends across the senatorial district.
Senator Highlights Achievementsl
During the meeting, the lawmaker outlined projects and interventions he said had been executed since assuming office.
According to him, his legislative efforts have focused on improving education, healthcare, road infrastructure and youth empowerment across communities in Kogi West.
He reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining development and expanding opportunities for constituents if given another mandate.
“I am committed to impacting the lives or or ur people in positive and productive ways. By God’s grace and with your support, we will do more when re-elected,” Karimi stated.
Youth Group Pledges Grassroots Mobilisation
Speaking on behalf of tthe elegation, Aledare Olatunji said the presentation of campaign souvenirs was aimed at expressing appreciation for what the group described as Senator Karimi’s quality representation at the National Assembly.
He noted that the group would continue mobilising young people across Oworo land to support the senator’s re-election bid in 2027.
Other members of the delegation included Engr. S.B. Suleiman, Prince Abdullahi Oberewa, and Usman Danjuma.
The endorsement adds to the growing political activities within Kogi West as stakeholders and support groups begin early consultations and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
