The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Danmotech Group of Companies, Engr. Daniel Omoyibo, is set to receive the 2026 Philanthropist of the Year Award from DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE Newspaper in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian services, youth empowerment initiatives, and contributions to community development in Delta State and across Nigeria.
The prestigious award will be presented during the newspaper’s 16th Public Lecture and Induction into the Good Governance Hall of Fame, scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 2026, at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The event, organised to commemorate 27 Years of Uninterrupted Democracy in Nigeria, will focus on the theme: “Economic Reform, Democracy and Sustainable Development: The Nigerian Example.”
Announcing the honour, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of DEMOCRACY NEWSLINE Newspaper, Chief Olugbemi Femi, described Engr. Omoyibo as an exceptional entrepreneur and philanthropist whose unwavering commitment to improving lives has earned him widespread admiration.
According to him, the Danmotech Group boss has consistently demonstrated that corporate success should be driven by a strong sense of social responsibility.

He added that the award recognises Omoyibo’s sustained investments in humanitarian causes, community development, and initiatives that have empowered thousands of people in Ole, Isoko, Delta State, and beyond.
