The All Progressives Congress Youth Network West Africa, has described the appointment of Hon. Dr. Dayo A. Israel as Deputy Director, Youth Mobilisation, ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election, as an important step toward strengthening youth participation in Nigerian politics.
The organisation, in a congratulatory message signed by its Director General, Hon. Olatunde Gideon Igbasan, said the appointment reflected Israel’s leadership credentials and his years of experience in youth engagement and grassroots mobilisation.
Igbasan congratulated the APC National Youth Leader, saying the new assignment presented an opportunity to further harness the energy and organisational capacity of Nigerian youths for the political process.

The APC Youth Network West Africa said Israel had distinguished himself through his commitment to the All Progressives Congress and his advocacy for greater youth participation.
It noted that Nigeria’s youth population remained a major force in the country’s political landscape and therefore deserved strategic engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
The organisation said it expected the APC National Youth Leader to use his new position to strengthen coordination among youth structures and promote effective grassroots mobilisation.
It expressed confidence that the appointment would contribute to the development of a more formidable campaign structure for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group also pledged to support initiatives designed to mobilise, inspire and organise young Nigerians in support of the APC’s political objectives.
According to the organisation, the Renewed Hope Agenda would require sustained grassroots engagement and effective communication with young Nigerians across the country and the diaspora.
It said the responsibility before Israel was considerable but expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver.

He prayed for divine wisdom, strength, good health and exceptional success for Israel in his new assignment.
Igbasan also described the youth mobilisation responsibility as strategic to the political journey ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election.
“The assignment is great. The responsibility is historic. The youth mobilisation is strategic. The victory ahead is collective,” he said.
