The 2027 political mobilisation for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada received a fresh boost in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State as the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, flagged off a Ward-to-Ward Youth and Women Engagement.
The programme, organised by the Senator Wadada Youth Ambassadors in Kokona, is expected to take the campaign to wards, polling units and households as supporters intensify mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event, held in Garaku, attracted political stakeholders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Jatau, while speaking at the gathering, commended the organisers for taking political mobilisation to the grassroots and urged youths and women to remain focused and united.
“I’m here to give my support because of the importance of the event. I want to commend all the youths who are here and the entire people of Kokona for the initiative,” the Speaker said.
He appealed to APC members in Kokona to maintain unity and avoid divisions that could undermine the party’s prospects in the forthcoming elections.
According to him, Kokona has a reputation for peace and unity, which he said should be sustained in the interest of the APC and the people.
“We are known for unity, let us continue to be united for our victory come 2027,” he said.
Jatau also endorsed the candidacy of Senator Wadada, describing him as a friend, political associate and “our own”.
“Senator Wadada is my friend, our own. We, the people of Kokona, are known for APC from top to bottom. I want to call on us all to support the APC,” he said.
He tasked supporters with taking the message of the party to their respective units and wards and working consistently for electoral success.
The Speaker further commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his commitment to infrastructure development in Kokona.
He specifically mentioned the Garaku-Dari road, which he said had been completed, and expressed confidence that the Governor would also commence and complete the promised Bassa Road before leaving office.
Jatau also announced a cash donation to support the campaign initiative.
Other speakers, including the Deputy Chairman of the local government, the area APC chairman and the SUBEB Secretary, commended the organisers and expressed readiness to support the mobilisation.
The development marks another effort by political actors in Kokona to strengthen APC structures and grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
