The APC Kogi East Senatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections, Chief Dr. Joseph Ameh Erico, has pledged to sustain his partnership with the people of Okaba community as part of efforts to promote grassroots development.

Erico made the pledge during the inauguration of the National Executive Council of the Okaba Community Development Association (OCDA) in the Federal Capital Territory.

He also announced a ₦10 million donation to support the association’s development initiatives.

The event provided an opportunity for Okaba indigenes, traditional stakeholders and community leaders to deliberate on development priorities and strategies for strengthening community infrastructure.

Erico said sustainable development could only be achieved through collaboration between community stakeholders and individuals committed to grassroots progress.

According to him, his support for Okaba was not limited to financial contributions.

“It is about establishing a lasting partnership rooted in unity, shared progress, and collective responsibility.”

He said such a partnership would help stakeholders systematically address infrastructure challenges and promote development within Okaba and the wider Kogi East district.

The President of OCDA, Alhaji Usman Alfa, expressed appreciation to Erico for the intervention, describing the donation as an important boost to the association’s development plans.
