Through her flagship initiative, EduRise Her Flow, Ekrakene champions menstrual health education, promotes children’s education and supports youth empowerment, while using her platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Delta State.
She said her ambition extends beyond winning beauty pageant titles, explaining that she hopes to inspire young people, promote meaningful social causes and contribute to sustainable community development.
Her participation in Miss Grand Nigeria is expected to offer an opportunity to showcase Delta State’s cultural identity, creativity and the potential of its young people on a national platform.
The Miss Grand International pageant, founded by Thai media personality and businessman Nawat Itsaragrisil, has grown into a major international beauty competition, attracting contestants from countries and territories across the world.
The 15th edition of the international competition is scheduled to hold in Thailand in October 2027, with the winner of the Miss Grand Nigeria 2027 contest expected to represent Nigeria at the global event.
Appealing to Deltans, supporters and well-wishers across the globe, Ekrakene urged them to vote massively for her to strengthen her chances of clinching the national crown.
She disclosed that the second phase of the voting process would involve monetary contributions and would commence after all contestants had settled into camp.
According to her, contestants are expected to enter camp on October 30, 2026, ahead of the grand finale scheduled for Saturday, November 1, at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Airport Road, opposite the Vegetable Market, Benin City, Edo State.
Ekrakene’s appeal comes as she seeks to mobilise support beyond her immediate community, drawing attention to the importance of collective backing for young people pursuing opportunities in the creative and entertainment industries.

For the Delta-born queen, the competition represents an opportunity to take her advocacy beyond the state and demonstrate how beauty pageantry can serve as a platform for education, cultural promotion, menstrual health awareness and community development.
She expressed hope that the support of Deltans and her fans would help her advance to the national stage and strengthen her efforts to represent the state with pride.
